No one at 50k yet?

Hasn't anyone crossed the finish line yet? In past years it was easy to see progress. This year I'm virtually stalled. I could cite distractions but the truth is I don't like my hero. I keep thinking I should drop an anvil on him or something.

50K tomorrow

I have just reached 45k today and the story is rolling along at a cracking pace. I hope that after some feverish writing tonight and a little more tomorrow I should be hitting that 50k mark. Doubtful if I will be able to stop there though - it's too much of a roller coaster.
