The Rules
1. Protagonist
2. Antagonist
3. Conflict Lock
4. The Central Question
If there's one thing you can do to make sure you keep writing through November it's to anchor yourself into the central conflict/theme/idea of your
story.
I recently rediscovered the Crusie Mayer 2007 Online Writing Workshop and began to read the lessons beginning with their first section: The Heart of the Story.
For your Protagonist and Antagonist read what She Wrote and then what He Wrote Back.
For the Conflict Lock and Central Question read what She Wrote and what She Wrote Back.
Once you have these things you will always be able to go back to them to find out the answer to: What happens next?
For an extra challenge this week try Motivating Your Characters, the second preparation challenges posted for SoCNoC. Make your antagonist and protagonist two of the three characters you focus on.
