Well, this here challenge is a gentle one to get you back into the swing of things in the New Year. Have you ever written a novella? No. Now's your chance.

The Rules
Much like the other writing challenges, this one hinges on your word count. Wikipedia says that a Novella should be between 17,500 and 40,000 words, so we're going for an even 20k.
