I think that's the great thing about NaNo. You will find others 'like you' in whichever way you choose to take that. :)

I am having trouble getting a photo up, others seem to have managed, is there a special knack? Tried various one's size wise, even the kiwiwriters logo, but in vain.

Nanowrimo - here I come! I am so keen this year, although I'm worried that I set a task too large for my meager writing skills. It will be fun, even if it's only 10k words!

Good Travis, saw you over there today. You have been so quiet lately. Took the liberty of being a writing buddie, as most of us have from here have attached ourselves to other members of kiwiwriters.

Thanks Gaye-belle,
Just storing up my creative energies! :) I have been reading biblical and religious histories in preparation for my fictional bible. There will be a large number of characters/narrators, each with their own point of view and intentions. See you throughout Nano! 16 Oct 2007 19:57:55 |

blue,
We were warned over the weekend that the site was going to be slow due to emails being sent out to last years participants that hadn't logged in yet. So they expected to have an influx of activity. Give it a day or so and things should be back to normal. 24 Oct 2007 10:02:30

nzfoxgirl, I have been over to live journal , to read your beginnings and it's coming along really welyl. You have a lovely stle of writing. :)
In doing so however, I have been fiddling about updating my own journal and getting no writing done. Beautiful day outside, sigh. 02 Nov 2007 14:08:43

Thank you for your kind words, Gay-Belle. In my writing I feel like I'm rambling. I have no direction, and because it's just sort of taking itself along in my head I haven't been stopping to really describe things. My characters are already doing things that even I don't know about, and none of them are turning out the way I used to imagine them.
I guess that's what NaNo is really about, huh? =) I'm going to look at your LJ now and if you don't mind I will also add you to my friends list. 02 Nov 2007 16:00:45
