Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would warn people that I intend on doing a server upgrade in the next few days. There are no member challenges on (except Publish a Book) and March Madness doesn't start until the weekend.

I apologise if this affects anyone but the truth be told there is never a great time to do it, but we do need it done.

In the next day or so, I will post a notice to the site saying we're down for maintenance and at that stage, you won't be able to log in and change anything. But hopefully a day or two after that, it'll start coming to life again.

When it comes back, I'll be asking for people to keep an eye out if anything's wrong or not working correctly and I'd be eternally in your debt for it.

Hi everyone,

Well, the server upgrade has happened. It was fairly smooth and I'd say it's been down for maybe 15 mins (though it might take longer for the changes to propogate).

Anyway, I can see that there are a few tweaks I need to do. Also, all the forums have ended up saying that all the latest posts were all at the same time. Sorry about that but I don't think it's mission critical.

If you do find something wrong though, please let me know. You might as well email me directly so we can get to the problem quickly. My email address is the same as my username here @gmail.com.

Thanks everyone for your patience. We're not out of the woods yet so let me know if you see anything strange and I'll try my best to get to it quickly enough.

Thanks Gaye, I'll put that on my (now quite short) list. I've fixed a few things up in the background so hopefully there isn't too much more to come.

When I think about it, it's amazing how much functionality this site has :-)
