Congrats to fireflykiwi on being the only person thus far to complete the NaNoWriMo Preparation Back Story Challenge!

Well done!

I aim to join you in the winners circle later today - see you there :)

Well done!
I did the other challenges but not the back story. It's sort of in little notes nearby.
Been putting vegies in the garden, once strapped in the computer chair, for November, little gardening will get done.
Your WIP word count is going well kerryn. :)

Heh yeah, my back story is sort of page after page of notes on various topics more than an actual story ... but it is coming along and should be finished tonight without too much trouble since I only have 988 words to go :)

Fortunately most of my vegies are already planted, so not too much work there to be done. Weather permitting I will have to spend a bit of time out there this weekend tidying it all up in readiness for a visit by the In-Laws. But I have budgeted time for that so no probs.

Go Chris! The more people over the line the better.
I did sign up, but am going to fail and accept that study prep has to come first. Hopefully putting my veges in next weekend! A little later than most, but I'm getting there.

Yayyyyy - I did it!!!

And with over an hour to spare too :)

That means I've written over 10,000 words in 7 days. Not quite NaNo pace yet, but I am proud of it nonetheless.

Oh wow...thanks everyone. Congrats Chris! The back story was completely all notes on the world and characters, things that I needed to know, but not necessarily put in the Novel.
And I have to admit, some of the credit for it goes to my husband and the chats that we've been having. (He is so much better at world building than I am)

Now get to writing everyone! (waiting to start... :) )

Husbands can be handy, mine is a crossword wizz and I am talking cryptic.
He saves me getting the dictionary out, and is a big help with the meanings of words.
If he would only just turn the TV down. Fortunately he goes to bed early. :)
