To Boldly NaNo has a challenge in May to help writers get into the habit of writing.

"A drabble is a short piece of writing, typically 1000 words or less, that can usually stand on its own." - May Drabble A Day

Check it out and get into the habit. It could be a good warm up for SoCNoC.

Looks like a cool idea, pity it's already the 4th of the month! lol
That's just a procrastination statement though, I think I'll informally take up the challenge, it sounds like a good way to make a habit of writing regardless of anything else that is going on and to generate some good ideas in the process.

I think it would be a great way to generate ideas. I might try it in January. I think I will dub January my idea month.

Oh yeah that would be a good month for something like that! I really enjoyed writing for the New Year Novella challenge during Jan though - the dabble thing is probably perfect right now to help me find a little direction for SoCNoC.
