{{ So I wrote my Prologue early to give me a really good start on the novel, it will not be included in my wordcount. I would love some opinions, I don't want to post the entire thing, but here is a snippet, if it appeals to you let me know and I will send you the entire thing. Thanks!}}
In the beginning there was only Sendara, the Creator of all things. She created the world, which bears her name, and created the sun so that she could look down upon her creation. Ages passed as she formed the continents, forging the mountains out of the burning core of her creation, filling the empty places with water to help quench the thirst of the world. When her work was done, and she retreated to the distant sun, she looked down upon her creation and found it wanting. She watched the stillness, and heard the silence of what she created and decided that she needed to create something to fill the silence. It took her centuries of thought and planning before she created Calmor, her eldest son. Calmor looked upon his motherās creation and smiled, delighted by the play of light on the water and the rough beauty of the stone mountains. As he smiled and walked all of his motherās creation life was created at his feet. . . 06 Oct 2007 12:54:49

I really love this. It reminds me a bit of The Elder Gods series by David & Leah Eddings. There were two things that really appealed to me:
1. A new take on creation, how man was created and the beliefs that go along with that and how they affect peoples lives. 2. The way you wrote it. It flowed really well and seemed to paint the world as Sendara created it. I'm caught and would love to read more. 06 Oct 2007 23:16:49 |

Ha so it is true, God is a woman!!
She must have put a lot of thought into Calmor, in the time he was created, he must be the 'perfect man', sigh...... It's lovely. Hope it's a better world than this one. kerryn your word count is climbing beautifully, well done. :) 06 Oct 2007 23:55:33
