How do I?

Not sure what's going on, but if I start a topic it won't let me reply to it later. Which is a real shame!

This certainly isn't what other people are experiencing since there are many topics which have replies by the same author as the original poster.

Can you be more specific about what problems you are having. I guess you'll be reading this reply so in order to work through it can you tell me:

* can you see either of the "Reply" links at the top and bottom of this topic?
* if you click on one or the other, does the reply form appear?
* can you enter some text and hit "Post"?
* finally, what happens then?

Hopefully we should be able to figure where the problem is.
