Just found this place today after noticing SoCNoC mentioned in the NaNo NZ newsletter.

Yep, I'm glad you noticed that because it's the type of site we aim to promote - a nice friendly one. That doesn't mean we don't get competitive when we want to though :-)

Welcome tangy-grape. I grew up in Whangarei and my parents still live there. It's a hole of a town but the countryside is beautiful and definitely conducive to writing! Do you live out in the wops or in town?
