That title - "The Centre of the Circle" - makes me think of crop circles.

And just as soon as I typed that, now I want do mine on crop circles and aliens rather than cats (my original plan).

Yep - that's it I'm sold. You know when you have an idea and it just doesn't grip you, then suddenly something appears out of nowhere and then you're set.

bibliocat - PLEASE tell me that yours isn't about crop circles otherwise I'll have to drop the idea :-)

Nope ... it's a fantasy novella. So no crop circles anywhere. :)

You have actually started then Andy :)
Or are you running around in circles?

My thought of the centre of the circle, was Maeve Binchey's "Circle of Friends" for some reason.

Um... what ARE crop circles? (sorry, to lazy to google xD)

Oh dear. Am I the only one who thought of it as a literal circle (the shape), or is everyone else here amazingly creative and imaginative?

Um ... the title is figurative. It's about two sisters; the older is ill and the younger has had to rule in her stead; the older sister is her motivation for pretty much everything.
At least, that's what I have for now ...

Sounds interesting since siblings can be so compeditive over the simplest things, ruling a country could bring out the best or worst of someone.
Does older sister like younger sister ruling for her?

My idea of hell is being trapped in a room with no books!

I don't know yet. I know the younger sister is completely devoted to the older one; that's about as far as I've got so far.
