Never done this before. Eeek and there's more to come.
Didn't go into gory details, just found with her throat cut. Here I am writing about a computer whiz and I know little about the subject. :) 05 Jan 2008 23:35:34

My response to your thread: "Good work." Sounds so morbid, doesn't it?
Ahh, this is random but I've always loved the word 'whiz'. He(?I think?) sounds really fun to write. (maybeyoushouldbasehimonaAndy?) *coughs* Oh, nothing....... 05 Jan 2008 23:39:46 |

Killing characters can either be a lot of fun, or quite unpleasant - depends which ones you are killing off.
I've had a near death so far and there are going to be a few actual deaths closer to the end of the story. Congrats on killing your first victim, er, I mean character! 06 Jan 2008 08:27:18 |

I kinda enjoy killing off characters but thats just me and I am very strange.
Sometimes details arent needed as peoples minds will do an excellent job of filling in the blanks. 06 Jan 2008 10:05:34
My idea of hell is being trapped in a room with no books!

Hmm, I enjoy it too. So you're not the only strange one. It's a great way to boost wordcount. XD
I've had times when I try hard as hell to kill a character (MC's love interest), but my MC kept trying to save him, and it ended up like this huge cycle of almost-dying, turns-out-to-survive, almost-dying, managed-to-stay-alive... ugh. I did eventually kill him though. (Score one for the Writer, zero for the MC) 06 Jan 2008 17:48:34 |

Oh you are a gruesome lot. Angeldreams you are so nawty, re Andy, don't think I haven't thought of him as I write, setting up web sites, creating games etc.
I'm sure andy can tell the difference when he's playing a game or acting it out. (I hope) :) 06 Jan 2008 21:29:41

Hehe, yeah, why not, base him on me :-)
/andy blushes Funny thing is, I might be okay on the computer but to be honest I hardly ever play games. I got addicted (yes, completely addicted) to Tetris on the Gameboy once since that is the ultimate game but I quit cold turkey and haven't played since then. And I daren't ever play it again. I used to dream of falling blocks sliding into awkward places. The line does blur sometimes gaye-belle :-) 11 Jan 2008 00:27:09

Yeah it can blur big time in dreams!! lol my flatmate often uses gaming terms to refer to his own life - and in fact in order to help him actually start to make something of his life I suggested setting up a 'quest log' (ie: list of goals). Quest logs in world of warcraft often have several specific tasks which need to be done before the quest is considered complete so I figured that would help to break down the bigger goals.... Obviously I game as well, just not so intensely, that's impossible when you have a child and study and everything else going on.
But yes, elements of the games slip into every aspect of your life sometimes, I have heard of people who base all their stories on things that have happened in games, or the worlds in which the games are based, and there are many stories about people who have killed over game related matters, have died because they neglected their bodies, have had children who died because they left them at home while they went out to play games.... 11 Jan 2008 08:24:57 |

My character Nigel, does the killings for real, then turns the sequence into creating a game from it.
One way of getting ideas I suppose. Now if I can just get the rest of the ingredients for making that bomb, and he's doomed, 'cause he blows himself up in the end. That will stop his nasty little habits. 11 Jan 2008 17:15:37
