Well I've got to a 'Nov', not sure if I can get the 'ella' out of this story.
It's totally different to my norm, and I'm struggling, how am I going to get another 10,000?
This character really is getting on my nerves, I can't wait to get rid of the begger. The police have been questioning him, but he's evasive and clever.
Think I'll carry one with the house painting, and come back to him later.

Drats! You're beating me again! I intend to come in second (as first is obviously outta the question now hehe). I shant let you beat me to the finish! :)

Congrats on the first half tho, it's a great weight off when you hit that far.

awesome guys! well done and keep up the good work.
Just about to sit down and attempt to get closer to finishing. Any hints on the proper way to stone someone to death?? I'm thinking of tying his feet together so he can't actually get away, but so that he feels like he might have a chance.....

Hmmm I've never stoned anyone cassie.
Tying his feet would be good he could think he can slide on his bottom to safety.
Blindfolded would be fun, he won't see the stones being fired at him, but feel them if they are good shots. :)
Well done Maui-potiki. I tend to work in spits and spurts! I may finish before 20,000, run out of ideas on this story. But then I said that with Nanowrimo. :)
No house painting or writing, but cleaned out junk from the workshop. Extremely hot today, lacking energy.

Managed to rouse up another 2,000 words tonight. A bit of romance, good for Nigel he needs someone to be kind to him.
They're off to a dinner party on a yacht. All goes fine until he packs a shitty and pushes someone overboard.
I may get another 7.854 thousand words out of this story yet. :)

I like my story now, more comfortable with a human interest style. Once I got into conversation pieces the story got away. ('cos I'm a chatterer.)
