Just found this fantastic resource for writers - it's good for students, readers, writers, teachers and more. It should certainly go onOur Resources Page.

Do you agree?

I've been playing on here and found The Literature Map where you put in an author you like and they draw out a map of similar authors that you will also probably like based on input from other readers.

It sounds like it should go under a section for Fun or Reading.

My idea of hell is being trapped in a room with no books!

Which author did you put in to get your map?

I put in "Orson Scott Card" who wrote "Ender's Game" and came up with a list of authors that I've read (80% maybe).

Terry Pratchett, I was SOOO happy to see Robert Rankin listed.
I was hoping to find some new author I'd not read before but that is one of the huge draw backs from working in a library. I see and read alot and have access to many books from other libraries too. Damn that Inter Library Loan!

Haha! Cool. My wife used to work in a bookstore and was allowed to borrow. And, the people who worked there were the most well read people I've ever met.

It was fun being around them, since I love books so much (and seem to attract them - another one arrived in the mail randomly last week :) )
