Are you getting excited yet?

I don't know about you but I'm already itching. No, not from fleas but from the prospect of another massively creative month.
June heralds the second coming of SoCNoC and we all know what that means ... lots of writing, lots of staying up late, lots of socialising, lots of chatting on-line but more importantly lots of words on the page.
However I contend that if it wasn't for those first lots of lots of the final one about the words would be much harder. If I am truthful about it all, then I'd say it's moreso about the former things which get me excited than the words themselves.
Admittedly after having done 2 NaNos and last year's SoCNoC I also realise how great it feels striding over the line to get that final word to push you passed that magnificent 50,000. (BTW: Yes, I did say striding and I don't want to hear anyone who knows me laughing in the background.)
I hope everyone is getting as excited as I am and I can't wait until we all knuckle down and get those words out. Doing something like this together and with a group of great people just makes it much easier and all the more fun. So thanks to everyone for making the event what it is ... a shame we still have to wait 20 days for it to start!

Ha! Striding - isn't he that guy in Lord of the Rings?
As we come up to June, I'm getting excited but a little nervous as well - I haven't got a clue what I'm writing about yet... only the barest of ideas and no idea where it will go.
I have also toyed with the idea of writing another 50,000 words on my last Nano novel.
I have to say though, excitement is overpowering everything else! :)
