Endings & Beginnings
August has been full of endings for Kiwi Writers with The End Is Nigh challenge.
19 participants embarked on finishing something writing related in 31 days. Nine people have succeeded in completing at least one thing with sadey completing an amazing 4 things and writing 21,000 words on her next novel. 14 participants shared their progress in The End Is Nigh forum and there was a higher success rate for those who did with 50% winning compared to 30% for those who didn’t.
The wide reaching scope of The End Is Nigh challenge allowed an impressive array of projects to be undertaken. Everything from a nursing portfolio to submission of short stories, completion of novels and titling of work was attempted. The flexible nature of The End Is Nigh allowed participants to set their own goals depending on how much time they could allow for. For some it was a few days work, for others it was a dedication of time throughout August. No matter which it was the satisfaction of finishing something was felt by many.
Member Challenges are launching September 15. Members will be able to challenge other Kiwi Writers with all the same fun gadgets with Site Challenges.
